I have been hearing a lot of traffic on MCSO swat freq. today around 1:00 est.........Too bad its scrambled....I wonder whats going on? ***I apoligize for posting in wrong forum!

MCSO - SWAT TGID 1030 on the Marion 800mhz trunk system is FULL TIME Encrypted. I have a friend on the MCSO SWAT Team. Since I know it's fully encrypted, I chose to leave it locked out on my Pro-106. My scanner is set to NOT SCAN the encrypted talkgroup ID. I usually don't bother my friend with questions about his SWAT duties, I hate to be a pain in his a_s.

BUT, if it were anything of great importance, it will probably show up on the local news in the evening.

That's why it's encrypted....so you can't listen to it.

I know....but its human nature to want what you cant have.......and to listen to what you cant hear! Well atleast in my nature
