Here is my question. I have a BTC15 Trunktracker III scanner that my wife got me as a gift. I have it programmed and on the MCSO talk groups I am not able to hear audio on the East or West talk groups. It sounds like a digital signal or encryption. Is there a setting I need to make in the scanner or are they just encrypting all the time now? I do however hear Probation and Animal Control.

You need a scanner capable of P25, as they are digital.
