If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Hello

I got a MD9600 DMR from tyt, and it doesn't key up in transmission with the PTT on the microphone,
so I'm looking for the drawings and/or service manual.

I've already looked over internet, nothing found... :(

Thanks for the help

It’s Chinese, so it’s pretty safe to assume there’s no service manual. My suggestion would be to program one of the buttons to do a 1750hz tone and see if it transmits. If it does, you’ve got a $20 mic problem.

I indeed program a 1750 button and it transmits when pressing. So it was a mic problem:
The diode on the ptt switch was down. I replaced it with an 1n4148.
Then I tested with a ohmmeter the PTT line from the diode, up to the transceiver, the line was
cut somwhere.

I had a look to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3ah0X_J600
and cleaned the ribbons from the head to the main board and IT's NOW WORKING :)

About the service manual, I have found the TH9800 one, the MD9600 service manual of course exists, even if it's not downloadable from internet.

Thks
