MDFR really need help, please!!

first off I would like to say thank goodness for this site.. so far I love what I have read...


I am trying to find the PAGER FREQ. that MDFR is operating on. and if it is UHF, VHF or Flex.

I am purchasing a APOLLO pager for this and the out of state programmer told me she was having trouble since miami dade and broward has too many freq. im fairly new at this but I would relay the information to the programmer so no worries about using technical terms. I currently have service to monitor these calls on a pager but it is more of a text message pay service. which of course this apollo will be saving me on the monthly. also if anyone would like to suggest any other system to purchase which will allow me to replay or read the calls as they come in. Please do so, thank you very much.

MDFR Pager

The pager frequency is 929.6125. I have two announcement groups in mine but there are several others. I can take a picture of the back of the unit so may be you can determine other information. I wish I had a secondary/backup unit with all the other groups

thank you for thefreq. all I need now is the capcodes which are inside the acutal pagers information. what kind do you have? brand make or if you get a picture that would also help. of thepager itself. thank you for your reply.

That would be illegal. Now that the information has been given out you need an inside source or someone who also illegally is using a pager already.

Peter, that information I don't have. I was told you need a programmer to read the codes and I don't have that. Anyways don't you need the particular code for the specific group?

I am not to verse on tha paging industry.

that is not so. monitoring the pager is not illegal. this I have looked into and spoken to the guys at the TAC COM office but they dont have this information other then the freq. since the programming is done by someone else. I thank you for your input though
P.S this is no different then monitoring the sports pagers (which I do also).

I guess you don't remember the Breaking News Network guys in NJ who got caught up in the cap code thing.

Check the law. ECPA.
