MDFR Temporary Frequencies Layout

Beginning May 23rd through May 26th improvements will be made to the radio system that will require
the temporary “outage” of the TAC-4 channel.
During the TAC-4 channel upgrade, units normally on the CENTRAL channel will operate on
COUNTYWIDE for dispatch and CENTRAL and TAC-3 will be utilized for assignments.

All MDFR Frequencies are in the database.

Beginning June 5th through June 9th improvements will be made to the radio system that will require the temporary "outage" of TAC-6.
During the TAC-6 outage units normally on SOUTH will operate on COUNTYWIDE and TAC-5 for Fireground communications.

All MDFR Frequencies are in the database.

Beginning July 17th through July 20th improvements will be made to the radio system that will require
the temporary “outage” of the SOUTH channel.
During the SOUTH Channel upgrade, units normally on the SOUTH channel will operate on
COUNTYWIDE for dispatch and TAC-5 and TAC-6 will be utilized for assignments. This change will
provide optimum in-building coverage for firefighting assignments

During the CENTRAL Channel upgrade, units normally on the CENTRAL channel will operate on
COUNTYWIDE for dispatch, and TAC-3 and TAC-4 will be utilized for assignments.
