MEAD (AP) - Weld County authorities say two people died when their car caught fire after a crash.
Undersheriff Margie Martinez says the crash happened early Saturday when the driver of a Volkswagen Passat crashed through barricades in a bridge construction zone.
Mountain View Fire District spokesman Jesse Hogdson says the car became airborne after hitting a dirt berm and then crashed into a concrete barrier.
