Tried to Google this on my own, and ended up with a bunch of results that are way over my head...

I see similar entries in the Events log fairly often while scanning my local P25 system:

ACCEPT AFFILIATION GROUP: 6122 (LOCAL) ANNOUNCEMENT GROUP:0

Does that just mean that the corresponding user's radio did some sort of a handshake with the system, indicating that they're now tuned into Talkgroup 6122? Something else entirely?

(I'm looking at these as a potential source of info on obscure talkgroups on the system and who might be using them.)

Accept Unit Registration = the ID is valid on the system, and "logged on"
Accept Affiliation = the radio is now affiliated with a particular talkgroup at the corresponding site
