med helicopter info

I am visiting in vero beach in indian river county,i was wondering if anyone had info how the medical helicopters system work in florida,i seen all the companies on the radio reference data base for the state and seen an article online that one company has 3 copters,Are the differnt companies assigned areas or counties.and if they are busy when requested then they move onto the next available helicopter.i am assuming indian river uses the copter from melbourne.There was a terrible accident yesterday on the florida turnpike near yeehaw junction where 4 people were injured and one person died,they had 5 helicopters come in to transport,i was driving by as all convoy of apparatus arrived and seeing helicopters in the air,so i am guessing they had all the helicopter within the area respond.

Not Sure about Indian River county but in Polk County when Fd calls for a medical helicopter first they call armored there is one stationed in Bartow (armored 4) there is also armored 2 in Sebring I think there is also Air Care 1 St. Cloud there is a web sight that lists all the med a vac in fla http://www.alecbuck.com/mediagallery/album.php?aid=804&page=1

Please help...I just got this Uniden BCD396T And I really dont know how to use it but I want to program these Med Helicopter I guess talk group Id's? maybe if someone has AIM or facebook messenger it would be alot quicker to run me through the process? Holmes Regional Medical Center is the trama center for the area.
Their rescue helo is "First Flight" and also covers Indian River County.
They are based out of the Melbourne Airport.

Medical reports and status are transmitted on 453.025.
In Indian River County they switch to one of the fire rescue talkgroups on the 800 MHz systems to talk to the ground units.
