"MedComm" / Hosp-9 on Denton system

Hello

Monitoring all the hospital channels on the Denton system, reveals the following:

1. The only EMS to Hospital activity I hear is Little Elm, TX EMS units to "MedComm" which is listed as Hospitals-9. I do not hear any other EMS department/city using that frequency.

2. I heard CareFlight talk to Medical City Denton on the Denton Fire "Hospital to Fire" channel but nothing else

So my question: In 2023 (now), are Denton County area EMS units still using cell phone to communicate patient information or is there a radio channel I have missed ?

I don't think you have missed any other talkgroups or channels. I hear them on Hospital 9 when I pull up Denton County, but I never realized Little Elm was the only one using it. Radios have been tuned to the Dallas system lately, but I'll give it a listen.

99.9% of Hospital reports are cell phone in Denton County. Not sure why we don't give radio reports, just the way it is.

Update: Heard EMS units from The Colony on Med-Comm today, and the rest were Little Elm EMS
