Last night Aircare 3 out of Dubuque (IA) had a scene flight in Grant Co for an MVA. They with on to fly the patient to UW in Madison. We were wondering how they did patient reports these days.
We should say we used flight tracking to see them fly to Madison and back to Dubuque once they flew out of range of comms for the ISICS.

I was just chatting with a buddy of mine who works for LifeLink III in northern WI/MN. I'm sure it may be a bit different in different regions, but as far as I know, most places calling into UW Madison would use the Wiscom/Danecom UW patient care talkgroup. That is what we would use when transporting by ground to UW, and I've heard UW Medflight give report to the ER on that talkgroup.
