Is AirEvac 51 in West Tx still using freq151.40000? Or do they have a new freq since they moved to Hill County.

ok thanks. I will monitor it today and see if I hear any traffic. If so I will confirm and summit to the database.

I am receiving Air EVAC EMS Big Spring on 152.375 DCS:162
The "West Tx" being referred to here, is the city of West, north of Waco, as opposed to the term "West Tx" referring to your region of the state.

That would be North Texas?

I live in Wacko. Hence, I will load this radio frequency and see what happens. I don't see anything that mentions West, Texas, The closest one to Waco/West is Hillsboro. If the other frequency exists, I cannot find it yet.

Air Evac 51 previously was stationed at West. When that unit was moved to Hillsboro, it was reflected in the database as keeping the same frequency, but no one has ever confirmed it, or sent an alternate frequency assignment. It’s well out of range for me. I can hear the CareFlite copter based at Whitney, but only because it’s on the same DMR trunked system as the rest of that fleet.

When I first looked at my Favorites, I thought I had them on my statewide EMS Favorite; however, I now see that I put MEDEVAC into my conventional section. Although I don't recall hearing Hillsboro per se, I do remotely recall that I have heard MEDEVAC key up in Waco. Without a doubt, Big Spring is accurate. I hear Big Spring each and every time I go there. I will pay closer attention and likely add tone 7 on my 436HP since it captures my attention due to annoyance.
