I've got both these freqs programmed in the radio ... I never seem to look at the display to see which one is active when they are in use ... can anyone advise the descriptions?
463.175 (FM)
462.975 (FM)

I rarely monitor those frequencies, but I don't think I've ever heard anything on 462.975. On 463.175 I've heard administrative type communications...returning to base, getting fuel, stuff like that.

Yep, 463.175 seems the most active freq: mission data, flight following, fuel checks, arrival/departure notification. Coordination on scene with local EMS/Fire/PD is usually on MARC or WISPERN.

Yep 462.975 is MED 10 Hospitals. It's tower is on the Baraboo Bulffs, and is a repeater for contact with UW to the north of the Baraboo Range.
