Having recently moved to East Alabama, I've enjoyed monitoring AFRN TG 31039 ("MEDFLIGHT"). The various helos seem to call it "AirComm". Can anyone share where the various medical helicopters are based in and around the Auburn-Opelika area?

life saver - Sylacauga Municipal Airport/Merkel Field

Lifesaver 3 is in Cusseta (Auburn area). Lifesaver 4 is in Sylacauga. Southflight is in Mobile and Baptist Lifeflight 1 is in Pensacola Florida.

Care Flight is Children’s Hospital of Birmingham helo and is based at the old Caraway Hospital helo base.
