mediflight position reporting

I heard a Mediflite chopper making periodic lat/long reports on the OHP trunked system this morning. Is this something new?

MediFlight OKC has been using the trunked 800 MHz system to talk with their dispatch in OKC for the last 6-8 months or so. Their talkgroup is 30224.
