Over the past year, there have been at least 3, (maybe more?) fires in central and northern Medina Co TX. For monitoring the fires and all of the activity related to them, should I just depend on what is listed on the Medina database here? I'm in Lakehills which is right at the Medina Lake dam and have a Diamond D130NJ mounted on the roof (2 story house on the side of a large hill). (edit to add that my scanner is an SDS200.) Generally, I have no problem listening to Kendall county, all of Bandera and Medina county. I'm just not sure if I'm listening to the correct channels about the fire.

Are there any more that I should be scanning than just these when trying to listen to the wildfires around?

Listen to the two Medina County fire channels, 155.3025 and 158.7600 for tone outs and dispatching, the Mico Mutual Aid repeater 155.1375, and the VFire interop channels as well the the Texas A&M Forest Service tacs and air-grounds the others have mentioned. Also, look on Bandera County’s page for Pipe Creek and Lakehills since they are close. There is a fire repeater for use down there as well as 155.5875 which is licensed in Lakehills although I’ve never heard it on the air.

Most of their fireground traffic is on VFIRE21 as a general rule
Medina Co ESDs has a standing practice of using VFIRE22 as their primary TAC. This is a result of other counties surrounding use VFIRE21 as their primary TAC and in the flat terrain interference from other agencies is not uncommon. There have been some incidents where state resources have used VFIRE21 first but even then most locals are on VFIRE22 with OIC/ICP moving to other channels for comms with state/FED agenceis
