Does anyone know anything about Decatur, TN (Meigs County) Frequencies or what they are doing. I heard about FleetTalk and trying some things there. They may be using NXDN there.

Are you speaking of the conventional frequencies or the TACN trunked system. Meigs Fire Dispatch 2 conventional frequency shows using both analog and NXDN. What scanner and programming software are you using?

Hey aj4wp.

Meigs SO, Decatur PD is Kenwood UHF NXDN Trunking and encrypted.

Meigs schools is NXDN Trunking and can be encrypted if they wish.

Meigs FD was paging on VHF analog and responding on VHF NXDN and can go encrypted if they wish. Thier goal was to move paging to NXDN as well, Don't know the status of that.

The only unit you will hear on System 2A5 is EMS when out of county and they rarely use it.

Using Whistler TRX2 Scanner. Using both but now Im hearing they are Kenwood and Encripted so thats out I guess.
