I guess this is what happens when you get a Pro-106 too close to heat. It's not exactly a mil-spec radio.

Poor Thing. It does not work, from exposure to extreme heat. Maybe somebody put it in the oven, because there were little Chinese Red Communists running around inside the radio on a little Mao Treadmill.

I wonder if heating it in the oven does anything to the little Chinese communists hiding inside the radio? I wonder if I put it in the microwave, or dunk it in liquid nitrogen if that will kill those Communists lurking inside the radio.

There must be little people lurking in Actel chips.

I am going to torture a Pro-197 next.

So far, about 99% of the OPs posts contain utter BS in my eyes. Or he/she is on one heck of an acid trip

Absolutely agree... I'd be interested as to how old he/she is. I'm guessing 10 or so? Maybe?

Humm,

I was expecting that the post had something to do with overcharging or a battery melting the unit. Now I see it was just plain melted.

But instead of looking at this post as a trolling.

Lets work with him and see what other tests he can do for us.

Try dropping it from great distances and see when it breaks.
Trying running over it with a lawn mower
Drop it in water

Do some stuff that we might accidentally do so we know what we can expect, rather than doing stupid things to just break your unit on purpose.
