MEMA drill

Tuesday night I heard a diaster alert drill on MEMA 143.04. The guy was reading alert notices, such as a SARS epidemic warning from CDC, etc.

In between he asked local EOC's to respond, but I heard none.

Do they have these often ?

I heard the same thing - but could not copy any EOC responses, either. MEMA was coming through loud and clear, though.

No they don't have them often and Dave MEMA is Located in Reisterstown that is why you here them loud and clear. Also it was a Commex Exercise that takes place once a month I beleive.
