Membership Types

What is the difference between "Junior Member," "Member," "Senior Member," and any other types of membership?

Dave / Things changed a while back, so I'm not sure, but I think some factors are: How long you have been a member, and if you have contributed any information into the database. I hope the senior tag does not indicate my age .

• So one needs to contribute to the database to be "upgraded?"

• What happens when or if the database is saturated?

I'm sure there is a talkgroup for the water dept., trash trucks, snow plows, or something that is not listed in your database.

It has to do with the amount of posts you have made.... I know you are upgraded to 'Senior Member' when you hit 100

Thanks for the info (and everyone else who responded). I don't plan to start a race on posting or anything (although, I have submitted quite a few legitimate posts in the last couple of months), I was just curious what the designations meant.

Well, of course the fact that you can set it to say anything you want might have something to do with that. :wink:

The people who post to just to increase their post count know who they are and most of the members know who they are too and they just clutter up the forum. It's more about what you have to say, than how many times you say it.
