Been listening to SCSD MPD 1 and 2 almost all day on the Pro95 and 96. Sound like all of the cars have the new radios. Dispatch is still transmitting on the EDACS system but most of the cars are all digital transmissions to dispatch. The audio is excellent.

MPD Talkgroups

I don't have a TG list but was able to sneak a peek at a copy. All the talkgroups on the list I saw started with 800007, 800009, 800011, 800013, 800015, 800017, etc. The radios were labeled strange. i.e. West Precinct is Crump, South Precinct is Raines, Downtown Precinct is SMain, etc. The SCSO has two encrypted TGs. The SCSO is reportedly entirely on the air on the new system this weekend, although I'm not programmed yet so haven't heard them. Someone who is already programmed, I'll be curious if you can confirm that SCSO is really on the air. Someone had asked weeks ago about Board of Education. Did see city and county schools on there. City schools has two channels, security and administration.
Thanks.
Ron

Right here...
That would translate to 112,144,176,208,240,272, etc...
I will guess then that the 55xx number someone was getting are multi-select patch groups, or dynamic regroups in the controller not actual TGID's.

What we are seeing is the TG that shows on the scanner.

For example, the SCSO Dispatch 1 Channel is really Decimal TG 803461 or Hex D85. If you take the right 4 digits of a decimal TG (IOW drop the leftmost 80 on each talkgroup), (80)3461 You get a Hex of D85. But, there is also a status bit attached to the hex TG. So D85 becomes D850 if it is just a normal transmission.

If you convert D850 to Decimal (like my uniden scanner does), you get TG 55376.

Seems easier to me that Uniden should have just made the scanner show either D85 or (80)3461.

I am not sure how RS scanners show this.

Here is a list of Status bits that I have:

0 Normal
1 Fleet wide (all call)
2 Emergency
3 Cross patch
4 Emergency cross patch
5 Emergency multi select
6 Unknown
7 Multi select

I would like to make a suggestion...
Since this is a new system in most all respects created out of the merging of a couple of older systems, lets build a new page for the new trunked system so that you can keep the current one as a great reference source, and you will have a new page with correct, accurate information and not some older info that gets caught up in the tables by mistake.

I agree. But the Info that I have submitted to milf is all the new TG info. I basically copied and pasted the new stuff into the format of the list on the database and he just made the corrections. I just sent in MFD EMA and am working on the rest so he can update those as well.

The two control channels I have that are related to the new system are 859.46250 and 860.96250.

Sys ID for both of those is C11E. Not real sure on all the frequencies but I have been told that they will all stay the same with addition of the frequencies found under *shelby county addition*.

My trunker is now showing 1164 radios active on the system. Seems like a long way to go until 4000.
