Well the Kroger shooting had just happened and I didn't know it was going on. So that may be why I had so much activity.

yeah I'm running unitrunker and I am getting good CC data, i think its still really early in the game, we will be running loads out of here till november so ill be back often and the latest DSD works too

there will be another site it looks like but it is not tied in yet to the network, it's showing isolated and that will be site 1-20 with a CC of 858.9375 but it's still running P25 voice from the old system, and that site isn't online yet, so they will probably take one of the old sites off first and then make the switch and bring the second site on after that, but the reception is 100% better on the new site than the old one

I thought my DSD was up to date, but it wasn't decoding the Phase 2.

Yes, I remember seeing that now "ISOLATED".

My problem was, that I didn't know I had found something new. So I was documenting like it was an already known system.

Yeah no voice for me so far, it’s a Phase 1 control channel but other than the Motorola tech affiliating I got nothing

Does anyone on this board run the scanner that feeds the MPD / Sheriff's Office feed on Broadcastify? I've noticed random bits of fire department traffic bleeding into the stream and I wonder if it's a result of all the upgrades and moving they are doing.

Also, the Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority is planning to upgrade to P25 Phase II as well. It might be interesting to listen to that system for any changes.

We're scheduled to convert to the new system early next year is what I've been told.

The new system is going live next week. A couple of small agencies will switch on the 18th and the rest starting the 20th. Both systems will be cross-patched for awhile. Officers with APX's will get the update via city wifi. Good news on encryption - If it was unencrypted on the old system, it will be unencrypted on the new system.

Looks like Memphis Police moved today, Can't hear anything for MPD and SCSD. Looks to be a new Trunking System (P25) but how can I get MPD and SCSD using those new tower frequencies, they still appear under the previous system in Radio Reference.

So Memphis Police has definitely moved. But are the new channels open or encrypted? n9pna indicated earlier the new system would stay in the clear. How quickly does Radio Reference get updated or is it up to volunteers like us to go scrub for the data?

Is this for certain ? I heard today that MFD and SCFD will be encrypted ? They were NOT on the previous system. Im hoping they aren't
