I just received a used Uniden BCD996XT. It did not come with the USB cable so while I have been waiting for that to arrive I have been plugging in frequencies and TGID's into the freescan program.
Does anyone have a working MERA freescan file I could take a look at to cross reference my work? I'm semi familiar with programming trunked frequencies, I had SFPD working on my old scanner.
So far I have one system for MERA, within it I have the site with all the repeater frequencies, then groups for each agency (MCSO, SRPD, NPD, Southern Marin etc...) with the talkgroup ID's within each group.
Also can anyone confirm if this is the correct bandplan:
Freq Low: Freq High: Offset: Step:
482.0000 487.9875 380 12.5
488.0000 490.1000 570 12.5
490.7250 490.9750 739 12.5
The freescan program is giving me a different high freq on the first set when doing the automatic high detection feature.
Thanks in advance for the help, im just trying to sort out any issues ahead of time until the cable arrives.
