Around 1pm a PSE&G subcontractor nicked a gas line at 28 Crockett Ln, Ewing Twp, about 0.2 mi from TTN airport and just N of NJSP headquarters. Seven workers were injured; one required surgery. The condo was totally blown to pieces, numerous other condos and apartments badly damaged. Roofs, insulation in trees and on adjacent buildings, doors and windows blown in. The West Trenton firehouse has opened its doors to help residents. Philly TV stns have live coverage.
I'm too far away to hear radio traffic...
Update at 6pm: One fatality found in the rubble. At least 55 dwellings damaged, in addition to the condo that exploded. About 40 residents at the fire house (so far).
