Mercer island PD

I have programmed on Norcom 19472 don't hear Mercer Island police all I hear is Kirkland PD any thoughts? Why

Hearing lots of transmissions for "IDA" units and calls on the "Island" on that dispatch talk group.

It may also depend on the site you're on. You'll have to be on the EPSCA site to hear 19472 regularly. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's a simulcasted talkgroup.

Since he's hearing Kirkland PD, he'd also be hearing Mercer Is as they share the same talkgroup. Besides, Mercer Is units might end up affiliating into all 3 main sites depending on their location. But you still make a good point and something to keep in mind.
