Years ago, I had no problem hearing Mercy Flight in Ontario County. Recently, I realized I wasn't hearing it anymore and went in and updated etc my favorite lists. Still didn't help. I went in again and recreated as well as check the channel and service type. I cant figure it out. Does anyone have any insight? I have no problems with my other talkgroups etc. Either Mercy Flight cant be heard or I have missed something (probably me!)....Thanks.

Coincidentally, I am hearing them as I type this response ... but on a UHF channel.
I see there is an Ontario County TG allocated for them, but I have never heard any traffic on it. I *am* in Monroe County though.
I would try the frequencies listed here:

Note that Mercy Flight Central is said to use the CNYICC system, but no mention of the Monroe/Ontario one.

453.175 PL 131.8 should be accurate. DB entry is outdated.

I was hearing them on 453.175 PL 91.5. I see the DB has that as " Mercy Flight of WNY Ch. 1 " but in my scanner it's "MrcyFlt Cent" so it must have changed since I downloaded that from RR.
I have never heard them on SaiaNet in Rochester. I cannot speak for Ontario County since I'm not there.
As a matter of fact, I am not hearing ANYTHING on SaiaNet in Rochester. I guess that should be a separate thread though.

453.175 PL 91.5 is Mercy Flight WNY. The original topic from what I understand is listening to Mercy Flight in Ontario County. Which I would assume Tah1966 is talking about Canandaigua. If so, then my last records show Mercy Flight Canandaigua on 453.175 PL 131.8 Marcellus and Rome had also been switched to 131.8 PL as well.
Interesting, they have been pretty active on it in the Erie Co area, figured they'd be using the same out in Rochester too. However, I just remembered, Mercy Flight WNY and Mercy Flight Central are two different operations
Anything on the Monroe/Ontario TRS Monroe Co TG 1437? Or TG 7609 for Ontario Co? I'm obviously out of range for that system, so I don't have first hand knowledge, just spit balling here, but, they have TG's allegedly on it.
Not that I have heard, no. I do not monitor 24x7, but I normally have a scanner parked on the system all day at least on weekdays, and in the last month there have been no hits on either of those TGs.

OP Here... I am not well versed with a lot of the radio technology...I apologize....So if I use the 453.175 instead of the TG 7609...I should have luck? I did download that last night and left it to record to see if I can pick something up today while I am gone.

Looking at the DB, multiple PL's/DPL's per site/organization. Remember, Mercy Flight Central and Mercy Flight Buffalo are two different organizations. Nothing for nothing, if your still confused, I'd just throw in 453.175 on CSQ, your bound to get something. As was @sallen07 was saying, he's hearing them on 453.175 PL 91.5, so....that should be your winner. If you really wanna get crazy, put all their frequencies in and scan.
Thank you for the input. I created a new Favorite list on my scanner all the frequencies in to see what I could come up with. I am recording for the day to monitor. I did have activity on Mercy Flight WNY 453.175 PL91.5. The Canandaigua Mercy Flight is my real target so I also have them entered as 453.175 PL131.8 as suggested as well as the PL110.9 as the database said. I appreciate the help.
