meriden pd

whats the deal with meriden pd? are they encrytped yet? i never pick them up at all on the scanner. ( i know if it was encrytped it would still show on the scanner when transmitted)

I can't pick them up either. I live in hamden and cannot and never have been able to recieve meriden even with an outside antenna. Seems like they broadcast with very low power or the 800 signal doesn't travel very far.

Chan 1 is 854.2875 I will have Chan 2 the next time I hear them use it.

That's correct:

854.28750 Digital NAC 203

F2 MIGHT be 852.96250 - also NAC203 but I think every time I've heard it, it's encrypted.
