And if they're using the 800mhz DTRS up there, well, it's just okay in the flat lands, can't imagine how horrible it would be up there. I wonder if they're still using their old VHF system up there?
The two areas that these accidents happened in are both VHF and 800MHz radio holes. The SO was able to go about a mile down the road on 141 and establish DTRS comms, He was relaying for the CSP on scene although the on-scene investigation didn't last very long.
The busy one was the CSP officer that was sent to St Mary's to interview the two patients that arrived within 15minutes of each other.
