Does Mesa Fire use any VHF frequencies other than 154.340 anymore? I hear dispatches on 154.340 that is multicast with 3064 on the TRWC, but I have not heard the other frequencies for several years.

154.235 Mesa FD F-2
153.950 Mesa FD F-3
154.010 Mesa FD F-5
154.175 Mesa FD F-6

I've recently noticed an increase in activity on the Mesa VHF channels. I don't know if it's because of an increased level of activity, or if they're going to play the game like Phoenix, and use VHF for certain incidents. I wouldn't delete them just yet.

Can anyone confirm the tones for Mesa Fire VHF freqs? I have reports that they have switched to DPL after narrobanding. Ch 1 is accurate in the DB as that is in use. I'm a little unsure about the other frequencies:

154.235 Mesa FD F-2
153.950 Mesa FD F-3
154.010 Mesa FD F-5
154.175 Mesa FD F-6

Can anyone confirm the tones for these freqs?

Sorry, it didn't let me finish my message before it sent. The tones on F1 and F3 are verified. I can't verify the tones on the other channels. I'll try to do so and let you know what they are.

Thanks for confirmation Ed! These tones match up with what I have heard in the past, so I will update the DB for these.

I'll keep listening for the rest.

I think I have ch 7 and ch 8 switched, but I can't find confirmation of that (just going from memory). I'll let you know if I confirm it.

You have the same order that I have. 154.325 is channel 7 and 154.295 is channel 8. They were for Apache Junction Fire District incidents, IIRC.
I have no clue if they're still available/licensed, let alone used for any purpose.

Thanks for the confirmation. I used to know all the VHF FD frequencies off the top of my head for the entire County, even back when each city had its own dispatch center. Now, it's just a blur.

Thanks,
Ed
