someone in my scanner group said you can listen to talk group 3000 and 3006 any won know if you can ?

That would be the A1 Fiesta and the A3 Red Mountain Districts. Hopefully someone has a scanner in the area and can confirm that these are active talk groups again. Although I very highly doubt it. If they are - maybe this is a very good sign about the future of them being encrypted.

A telephone call to a friend who works city-wide canine handler shows that both A1 and A3 are 2 way encrypted. No plan of removing the 'big E' either.

Didnt think so. That AZ scanner group is full of . . . Very interesting people to say the least. Can’t really believe half of them can get dressed by themselves in the morning.
hey we have good ppl in my group who have done scanning for years and also techs. I run the group and also have a live stream. some of the folks in my group also are ham techs and also belong to OEM offices , NWS offices, PD from outside areas other then mesa. I also have fed people in my scanner group. try and put an invite in. we also do live calls that go out and post them, Please don't put my folks down. thanks

Hey Tom, which group is yours? I'm a member of one on Facebook, but I seldom get an opportunity to check it. That and FB has me on their s**t list for posting so many anti-vax articlews.
