Any know where I can get updates on the Metaire Parades??? JPSO??

JPSO would be your best bet. When I lived in the area that's what I listened to. I can't help you as far as specific talkgroups that they use for parade operations. I am sure someone here can though.

Just be sure to use and earpiece if you'll be monitoring while actually at the parade. The police don't like hearing their voice repeated to them while standing next to a civilian.

Not sure if Metroscan still puts units in the parades or not. It's been years since I've seen vehicles marked with Metroscan's logo with the lead units.

On the Eastbank, the usual assignments on LWIN are:

JSPO Special 1 - parade west of Causeway Blvd
JPSO Special 2 - parade east of Causeway Blvd
JPSO Special 3 - barricades, transport, and EMS request
EJEMS Tac1 - medical

Units use their off duty JP numbers for identification, and are usually grouped together by assigned division. For example; reserve deputies (2xxx series) from the 4th district (24xx series) are usually assigned to the Bonnabel Blvd area.
