Police: Mobile drug lab discovered
Findlay police have arrested two people and taken three others into custody in connection with a drug lab being run out of a car stopped in front of Wal-Mart, 2500 Tiffin Ave., this afternoon.
Police initially stopped the car in connection with a report of shoplifting from another store. In searching the car, officers found chemicals consistent with a mobile methamphetamine lab, Sgt. Randy Digby said.
Several police officers and firefighters came to secure the area, which was blocked with yellow tape. The east entrance to Wal-Mart, near where the car was stopped, also was blocked with yellow tape.
Chemicals used in making methamphetamine are poisonous to breath or swallow and are flammable, Digby said.
