Methuen New Frequency

Word from Chief Solomon is that they aren't releasing the new frequency to the public. I'm sure in due time it will come out, but for now all I'm getting is static on the old channel (482.462)

KM,Do you have a P-25 capable scanner?They have gone P-25 digital,I recieve them loud and clear on 482.4625.(they are$$,hopefully the price will go down someday)

Silly chief, he thinks this is his private information? Same frequency, P25 audio, NAC 983. That static you hear on your current scanner is the digital traffic.

Yes, I realized that now. I don't have a digital scanner, just an Analog base. Is there any way someone can upload it here?

I guess the Chief in Methuen isn't aware of the FCC and the definition of public information.....

KM,im not sure if there is an app you can download to an older scanner to pick-up P-25 comm,s,I suspect there isnt,I have also seen prices of P-25 capable recievers rising(I think they know they have us where they want us)Prepare to spend good money to purchase one.
