There's a handful of threads discussing these systems but none that really get into the nitty gritty of it. With that being said, does anyone have any details about how these systems are built out? I imagine that an omni on top of the stadium doesn't help coverage inside and they don't need extended coverage outside, so my best guess is they use some sort of coax bleed inside the stadium?
Anyone know or can take a guess about why they would be using UHF and 800 on 2 separate systems? Why not just create a multi site in either band?
Does anyone have a rough estimate about how far they get out? I don't imagine that you will get great range out of it either....
Any other info pertaining to them would be welcome, it's a rather unique system compared to what I'm used to in LMR
