I'm starting to hear FB police dispatcher in the clear per broadcastify calls platform nodes , however no mobiles are heard , so they are only using part time encryption im guessing , also I heard several calls on Addison PD all were in the clear , dispatch and mobiles, Anyone in that area hearing the same ?

I monitored the system for a few hours last night, Coppell police dispatch side was in the clear. Did not hear anything from Addison or Carrollton.
How about farmers Branch ?
I guess it was something in the radio console that they were having problems with and that's why I could hear them ? I could hear the dispatcher for farmers branch, but not the mobile units, Addison I could hear both the dispatcher and the mobile units.
I was sure hoping they were making the move to stay in the clear. OH well !

Here's the thing I find interesting, if you go to the the Metro crest Quad cities trunk system on R.R Data base and click on the blue highlighted talk groups you can hear activity with the dispatcher for Carrollton PD in the clear as recent as 1/29 at around 1:30 pm. If you go to the Addison PD talk group you hear both dispatch and units in the clear. I'm not sure what is going on ? But people in range of this system should keep monitoring and keep us up to date here on what they are hearing because I think it changes regularly
