Metro Front Range/South Foothill Fire Frequencies

As the fire season approaches, listen to Evergreen Fire, Disp, 453.95, Ch. 6, 453.375. Elk Creek, 155.22. Indian Hills/Lookout Mtn., 153.935. Platte Canyon, 154.43. These are the primary comm channels. Often, the initial call will go to DTRS, such as Jeffco, then to the fire departments, who tone and voice on these frequencies.

All I am getting on Evergreen Ch6 is busses...is that normal?

Don't forget North Fork FPD at 153.875. They cover a good portion of the land down that way too.

Thanks MikeyB. Evergreen Ch6, 453.375, may be a frequency used by other entities in the metro area. I don't hear that activity, but then again I'm up in the foothills and probably won't hear the tower they are using. But, when I'm in town I don't hear that either. I haven't tried this, but I would guess you can search the database on this site to see who is usisng that frequency.
