Metro Paging

Is anybody else hearing the Metro Ambulance paging channel cut out or or only transmit the page and not the actual dispatcher? I'm wondering if they are encrypting this channel or just having issues.

Yeah Ive been hearing the same thing.

Its on dispatch end.
When dispatch sends out the tones regardless if metro hears the entire page, its on their MDTs in the ambulance anyway so that's why the medics aren't saying can you resend the page. The call and all the other info is on the MDT. But it also seems like their MDT system is not at all reliable. If MDT system is down I would imagine they would request another page be sent.

I also think its how the dispatcher is doing it. some never have the issue and others seem to cut off the pages when they do it.

It sounds like all Bismarck comms have to be secure and no outsiders Also Bisman Yes Mr. D I worked in the Bismarck public safety field I not going to say which department but yes he was a jerk and other names I can't say. I am retired now and I don't have to put up with that anymore.

Seems like the pages today on the metro channel have been working ok for the most part.
