Are you sure it isn't another Amtrak Police unit closer to you? That frequency is used nationally by Amtrak police for communications.......

No definately heard orange line, metro units, and DC locations.. It was very clear with the whine you get when you DX SW/MW and AM stations ..as I said it is only early morning and early evening after about 10Am it goes away then returns about 6pm to 9pm. so far just yesterday an this morning.
