Basically, you have to listen to both Metro West dispatch and Ops 32/33/34 to figure out where posts are located.

Common locations they announce they're coming from include (this is all off the top of my head):

* - Cornelius Fire Station (N Adair & N 13th)
* - Dawson Creek (Metro headquarters)
* - Tualality Hillsboro
* - St. Vincent's (or Hwy 26 & Hwy 217)
* - 185th & TV Highway
* - 185th & Baseline
* - Baseline & Cornelius Pass Rd
* - Murray & TV Highway
* - Murray & Scholls Ferry Rd
* - Hwy 99 & Hwy 217
* - Hwy 99 & Durham Rd
* - Avery & Tualatin Sherwood Rd

Going to and from work, I see Metro units parked at various locations along Tualatin Sherwood Rd - for instance, at 115th (76 station), Avery (parking lot of a graphics design business), and 89th (Carl's Jr/Staples parking lot).

Most of those locations are shopping malls, gas stations, or other retail establishments.

And when you say "level plan", what are you referring to?

The Ambulance level is just the number of transporting ambulances that are available county wide.
When the ambulance level is at 0 there are no Metro West ALS ambulances able to respond/transport. In these rare incidents Fire is allowed to transport patients.
This was the practice in the 90s when there were Fire Rescues. Then the County got away from Rescues, turning them in to Rehabs, and investigation units. Now Fire Medic units are once again ALS transport capable at least TVF&R.

As it stands now:
TVF&R Medic 34, 53 and 61, Forest Grove Medic 4 and Gaston Rescue 11 can transport.
Hillsboro, Tri City RFPD (Sta 13, 14, 15). and WaCo Fire District 2 (sta 17 & 19) don't have Medics yet.
I'm not sure on the transport capability of Cornelius.

I just did some reading up on this to clarify - TVF&R MED35, MED52R, MED53, and MED62; and Forest Grove MED4 are the only "fire" medic units authorized (licensed) to transport, granted that they meet the criteria under Washington County EMS guidelines (pg. 54):
http://www.co.washington.or.us/HHS/...11-2011-MWA-D-OGs-Progressive-Document-v1.pdf

Oregon Ambulance Licensing Service lookup:
https://orphcert.dhs.state.or.us/MyLicense Verification/Search.aspx?facility=Y

Gaston RFPD, Banks Fire District (formerly Tri City RFPD), WCFD#2, Hillsboro F&R, and Cornelius Fire are listed as "Agencies-Non-Transport" in the Oregon Ambulance License database. IIRC, Hillsboro was licensed to transport at one time, but they re-purposed their rescue into a rehab.

And as for the "level", I wasn't sure if scking89 was refering to the "level of care" (ALS, ILS, BLS) or the minimum coverage level for the county, which is 4 (see the same link above, pp 23 and 34).

Thanks to Jvandyke13 for the post numbers - I wasn't too far off! :) I'll add this to the wiki for future reference.

Thanks for the info everyone.
@pmj2kx-What I meant was, which posting assignments are filled at which levels. For example, which posts are priority for level 4?

I'm moving to the area from Texas in the next couple weeks... And I think I am probably going to go with AMR as believe they have stations lol.

Oops I guess my last thread did not go through. Thanks everyone for the info.

What I meant by level plan (wrong choice of words) was which posts are covered at which level. For example What posts are covered at Level 4.

I am moving to the area soon from Texas, and I think I am going to go with AMR as I believe they have stations. I am not a fan of posting lol.

So to clarify, the post locations that Jordan posted are correct (they generally post in the area). The number is supposed to correspond with how many ambulances are left in the county. So if they are at level 1, that last ambulance is supposed to go to Cornelius, if they have 11 they post at 1 through 11. Since calls and units are ever changing, things never end up working that way. They also do half way points and other things depending on turn around times at hospitals. Ever get a chance, listen to their channel.

In regards to the fire medics, TVF&R and Forest Grove have the only state licensed medics like PMJ posted and why they are called Medics instead of rescues (MED35, MED53, MED62, MED52R and MED4 [formerly Rescue 4]). Hillsboro and Gaston have rescues that are transport capable, but that is only in VERY rare occasions like MCIs or just moving a patient to an LZ. Cornelius and Banks have medium duty rescues with no patient area, WCFD2 has no rescues anymore.

And AMR has posts like Metro West, with some of them being quarters. Meaning, if you got posted there you got a couch and TV. At least that was the case in 2004, DickH would know.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 6_1_3 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/536.26 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0 Mobile/10B329 Safari/8536.25)

There is a few more AMR "quarters" posts if you look around.
