MFJ-874 SWR Scale Question

The MFJ-874 has two SWR scales, one of which is labeled "H", and the other "L". Is the "H" scale for VHF/UHF and the "L" scale for HF, or are the different scales used for different power ranges?

The manual doesn't specify when you should read off the "H" scale vs the "L" scale.

The H and L are used as you first describe, for either VHF/UHF or while operating HF. You can also glean this info by reading some of the review of the MFJ-874 on eHam.net.

PS. I've never seen such a lousy manual.
