I am having trouble programming the new MARCS-IP system for Miami County. I believe I have entered all sites and talkgroups but hearing nothing. Any help?

What scanner?

All the information we have currently is in the database, but updates will certainly be forthcoming later today as Miami County is just now in the process of switching over to the new system.

Site: 348 4 (4) 005 (5) Miami County Miami 859.7375c 858.7375 857.7375

Add that site to MARCS-IP as an additional site, or enter it as a separate system with P25 Auto as the system type. Either way I would recommend a "talkgroup wildcard" or talkgroup search mode until more information is available. I also suggest adding the frequencies from the Miami County EDACS system, as some frequencies have been moved from it:

001 (1) Miami County 01 856.4375 02 857.4375 03 858.4375 04 859.4375 05 854.4125c 06 856.0375 07 856.7375c

If your scanner is heavily dependent upon the database (like the HomePatrol 1 or 2) you may have to wait until Monday when the new database updates are available.

Old P25 system. . .

Anyone know if this system is still in operation? it was a demo system installed by Harris but may have been removed.

Databases have updated I am back up and running on my 396T and 436HP, thanks for everyones help.
