I just read this today
Harris Corporation Receives Orders Totaling Approximately $100 Million for Miami-Dade County Public Safety Communications System Upgrade
I wonder if they are going to make it 100% encrypted - so it will be history to listen to pd in Dade cnty??
Also - P25ip - can any scanner monitor it?

There is a P25ip system up here in Saskatchewan and it is easily scannable by a BCD396T/PSR-500 and up. The Pro-96 and Pro 2096 require that each site be programmed into it's own bank with a custom table.

As long as it's not encrypted, you can listen.
