Miami-Dade to SLERS?

I have had people in Miami tell me that it appears Miami is going to use the SLERS system (with encryption) for the Super Bowl.

Can anyone confirm this?

Will this be only for the Super Bowl or could this be a more permanent situation?

There’s no way. On either.

City just put in a brand new P25 system & Metro Dade is far too big for anything like that.

They maybe meant the PSIC system. I am currently hearing traffic on 65004 which sounds like motorcycle escort traffic. Typically this system is very quiet...
