Now I'm not receiving Ottawa county sheriff department . If I knew the TG # I'd just add it . But the the database doesn't show either .
Take the Type II TGID and divide by 16 to get the P25 TGID:
28176 = 1761 Ottawa Co 911
24976 = 1561 Ottawa Co EMS
26672 = 1667 Ottawa Co FG 1
26704 = 1669 Ottawa Co FG 2
26736 = 1671 Ottawa Co FG 3
26768 = 1673 Ottawa Co FG 4
28208 = 1763 Ottawa Co SO
28240 = 1765 Ottawa Co SO Car
28368 = 1773 Ottawa Co SO Patr

There might be more talkgroups than that and they won't be in the database unless somebody verifies and submits them.

I live in Grove and am receiving P25 on the Jay, Vinita, Miami and Langley towers on my SDS100. Until about 10 days ago I was also receiving on the Grove tower (which is best for me). Now I don't hear anything on the Grove tower. Sometime the towers, other than Miami, come in broken because of the distance. Anybody know why the Grove tower is not functioning?

Anyone out there knows how to do this ?

I have mine dialed in for the Miami Tower and it works great . But I'm trying to get someone to upload the Ottawa county sheriff TG's .

If you can hang one for a week or so I would be happy to help you get your radio dialed in correctly. Just let me know if that's ok for you and I will PM you and try to work out a schedule to get it done.

What CC freq. do you have set in for Grove? I have 852.7125 and hear plenty of traffic.

The DB is showing 1767 as the ID for Ottawa Co 911, not 1761. Whether that's correct or not I can't tell yet, I am traveling up that way this weekend and will see what I get.

I took a trip today up through that area and didn't hear a peep from TG 1767 and I normally did before the switch to P25. So I'm thinking that this may be incorrect in the DB.

The DB is a mess. It has the same TG as two different things.
1767 6e7 D Ottawa Co 911 911 Dispatch -- Miami Police, EMS and Fire
28272 6e7 A Miami Police 1 Police Dispatch
The admins need to go through it and sort out everything on both DB pages by the hex ID and fix it but that will never happen.

Rick, since you're here in Grove too, please see if you can help me with an issue. While listening with earphones to my SDS100 (Grove PD 460.1125 DMR) sometimes I hear a faint pop. I look at my device and see that it is stopped on GPD. The dispatcher or other unit will say "go ahead" and then I'll hear the original unit. It'll also do it with OHP on the new P25. It's totally random. Do I need to adjust a setting? Any ideas?

I wish I could help, but I'm using a Whistler TRX-1. I haven't noticed that happening on it. Maybe your scanner is stopping at the tail of a transmission but didn't have a chance to decode the digital signal until the next transmission?
