That's funny. I get cat naps here & there. I sleep on the floor downstairs when I don't feel like climbing those damn stairs to the attic to my room where the radio's are. I do get some sleep, but probably not enough sometimes. It probably doesn't help that I take care of my elderly mother also.

I caught it only once. I almost wonder if it was an accidental key up. I copied it after they landed and can't make out what, if anything was said. I am monitoring from my home QTH though, so it's possible it was easier to copy on the grounds.

Interesting traffic on 7/7/2024- BTL Ground 121.700, Just as the Thunderbirds were taking off, tower notified the air boss of an aircraft skirting the TFR for the airshow. Later traffic indicated that the pilot was attempting to watch the Thunderbirds from the air and was being notified by ATC to move further back. Did not appear to delay the performance at all.

F-35C demo team heard on 313.875. Departing KBTL this morning, also heard on ZAU-80 KELOG sector 307.175 direct to Joliet, IL.
