C-21s to replace A-10s at Battle Creek base
I don't know if this is good or bad. I love having the A-10's fly right over my house on the way back to Battle Creek. I wounder if the C-21's will do the same thing

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (AP) -- The National Guard Bureau says C-21 cargo and passenger planes will replace the A-10 fighter jets now stationed at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base.
The C-21s will continue a flying mission for the base until it someday becomes part of the U.S. Department of Defense's Joint Cargo Aircraft program.
The A-10s will shift to Selfridge Air National Guard Base later this year.
It's part of a realignment of military personnel and equipment in Michigan that state officials have been seeking.
U.S. Senator Carl Levin and Governor Jennifer Granholm jointly issued the announcement Monday.
The Democrats lobbied to keep the Battle Creek base open in 2005 after the Defense Department recommended that it be closed.
