Interesting happening on 8/31-

I was picking up the ground side of the Niles, MI RCAG UHF (Sector 33 BURBN Super Hi FL350 & Abv) 323.050 clear as a bell from an external antenna in Battle Creek. It was all civil air traffic; the controller was simulselected on both the UHF and VHF sides. It's not unusual for me to hear the Litchfield RCAG with some noise on a good propagation day, but getting the controller side from the Niles RCAG was unexpected.

Anyone noticing the lack of milair comms recently. I pretty much monitor from 8:00am-5:00pm every weekday, and I never turn my radios off, but I really haven't heard anything this past week.

Toledo just sent 12 F-16’s aircraft overseas Saturday and Michigan A-10’s and KC-135’s are still deployed so I feel like any milair comms are going to be transitioning aircraft.
