Anyone have any idea who’s using the MOA’s? I would’ve thought it was Toledo using the STINGER and BUCKEYE but there’s also the entire STEELHEAD area that’s active and coincides with guard launch times.

I’ve heard Fort Wayne also uses the Stinger and Buckeye, and I know there’s a ton of jets up in Alpena, so could be either of them too.

I keep forgetting to post that I went to Alpena this past weekend, no flying OR comms, the only birds up there are the NAS Fallon 7 Hornets and 4 Falcons. I have also not heard any comms from Lansing on Huntress or any other ACM freqs that I normally hear. There's also been a drone on ADS-B in that area for the past 2 days.

375.000 TOD Signal? Anybody else hearing this. 12:51pm. (Time Of Day)

Chuck in Detroit / NODAK 1
Ok. I figured out where this damn signal is coming from on 375.000
It's coming from my Rat Shack PRO-2004 Scanner. I used a handheld scanner to track it down. When I stepped out of my room with the handheld the signal stopped. I came back into my room the signal started again, so I turned off the 2004 and the signal stopped. DOH!! 😣 Stupid scanner.

Happens to the best of us Chuck. My current work listening post is about 1500 feet away from an FM classic rock transmitter. Scanner opened squelch on an unusual Milair channel and I heard this descending electronic tone. I got excited for a second until the tone ceased with a whistle and a familiar beat. It was “Jungle Love” by Steve Miller Band. Ughhh. FM trap went in line the very next day.

238.800 IGOR 11for BRICKYARD? I don't have a listing for IGOR as a callsign.

Callsign IGOR

Associated Unit

The callsign IGOR has been linked to the MQ-9 Reaper drones.

Operating Base

  • Base: Creech Air Force Base (AFB), Nevada
This association indicates that the MQ-9 Reaper drones operating from Creech AFB have utilized the callsign IGOR in recent operations.
