I had some chatter last month on 273.000 which I had as Demons before. They had gone over seas and were using it for a/a chatter when they past through my area. They were a Mazda flt at the time.

Yep since there return they must have new a/a, run SRC whenever up no luck yet for DEMON & YALTA

Can anyone enlighten me as to what the loop broadcasting on 259.300Mhz is all about? It's kind of hard for these old ears to make out completely, but seems to be about "being off the air".

NEW A-10 A/A

326.400 seems to be the new air to air for Tejas has anyone caught any other new ones. None of the old air to air seem to be in use anymore.

The Selfridge A-10 are using new A/A freqs.
DEMON 11 273.250 BTN 11
TEJAS 21 like above 326.400 BTN 12
YALTA 31 307.775 BTN 13

I don't know if BOSON or HOWDY have new A/A or not. I haven't heard them go out in pairs to check it.
These are the freqs I have for them.
BOSON 41 368.000 BTN 14
HOWDY 51 314.400 BTN 19
349.400 is being used for an A/A on the aft radio. You might hear them say push air to air aft radio.

Sorry for not posting for a long time, but no internet at home. If I had some neighbors around me I could probably steal some Wi Fi, but there's not to many poeple left in my neighborhood.

What you are hearing is the Selfridge Tactical ATIS for the A-10's. When the A-10's don't fly the message usually says. Selfridge Tactical ATIS is off the air. That's what it's transmitting right now. I can barely hear it here at my sisters house in Rochester Hills.

Thanks been driving me nuts, kept SRC whenever they where up but never nabbed them.
I lose them after they drop low into the ranges, so I have a short window.

Thanks for the updates guys. I was being to wonder if this page was dead or not lol. Some of them came through here yesterday going overseas. And of course I didn't hear a peep on a/a because I had all the old freqs in!

Earlier today heard Century 30 working Selfridge Op's on 342.5 passing along weather information. Anybody know who's Century 30 ?

The night before heard 5 helicopters pass by my location 3 times and then seemed to disappear around Eastland Mall area. Anybody else hear any comm's from these units?

Anyone pick up anything on this freq today?? I have it listed as Norad/Sidecar. Sounded like some kind of exercise. I have comms from 14:13 to 15:35 Sounded like fighters. Had the mask sound when talking and kinda of sounded like a Canadian accent to me.

there are a massive series of exercises being conducted nationwide this summer.
I think its up to 30-35 diff states and various branches,and also fed , state and local pd...

keep scanning those channels!
