Thanks for the suggestions guys ...
YES I always have my BCD436HPs in the record mode 24 hrs/day.
I'm always looking for new TG or Freq.

I have used 128GB cards used successfully. I've been wanting to try 256GB cards.

I thought 32GB was the largest size supported. From the owners manual:

Reformatting the microSD Card Reformat microSD cards using a special SD Card Formatter (Downloads | SD Association formatter_4/). Then, you need to “Clear User Data” using Sentinel to restore all HP files and directories to the card. Cards up to 32GB are supported.

32GB is the official top end. We do not know yet what the unofficial top end is (although it is at least 128GB).

I should also note that I do not know HOW MUCH of that 128GB card the unit can write. It's possible it works fine but will not allow access to the whole thing. It takes a lot to fill up a card that size...

The controller in a SD card needs to do some special operations to go above the 32GB boundry, like old harddrives had to use LBA mode and some PC's couldn't handle that. Some brands and types might not work correctly dependent of how the device are handling the page shift at each 32GB bank. Most manufactures then state that they only support up to 32GB SD cards to play it safe. In most cases bigger cards will work but I know that some chinese 128GB and 256GB SD cards fail with many devices and then only have 32GB to play with but will still report 128 or 256GB capacity from the controller.
