Anyone in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area able to pick up Site 41 Dupont? I have not been able to pick it up since I started monitoring this system last December... I am not far from the actual site, and have nothing on my SDRTrunk, but can pull in Mehoopany and Catawissa from my location.
It is still displayed as a neighbor on Scranton, Catawissa, and Mehoopany sites, but not the Wilkes-Barre Site which is interesting.

I'm not saying that Dupont is online. I'm nowhere near it. But keep in mind that they have a history of using 454 mhz paging spectrum too. It may very well be that the control channel is now some 454 mhz freq

Now that I am looking, I am seeing a steady transmission on 454.275 that is fairly strong, however when putting it into SDRTrunk it is not decoding it as DMR. Same frequency is used for the Philly CC so I figure this is MADRN but not sure why SDRTrunk wont decode it.

Well whatever it is, is no longer there any more. No Clue what it was, but it sounded like a DMR control channel.

Update on Triangles WPRX690 (Lower Alsace/Reading) license:

1. Remove freqs from Lower Alsace / Reading site

Remove from Lower Alsace/Reading:
461.175
461.300
461.600
461.900
462.075

leaving:
461.25
464.275
500 mhz freqs on license on WPRJ813

Note: In July 2022 they filed an FCC notification suggesting that 500.3625, 500.9125 were added to Site 15 Reading

2. Move Lower Alsace/Reading site 0.3 mi S on Skyline Drive

3. Add new Birdsboro (Berks) site at 400 Geigertown Rd ( 40°13'44.7"N 75°48'23.4"W · 400 Geigertown Rd, Douglassville, PA 19518 )

461.300
461.600
461.900
461.175
462.075

So, in summary, the five freqs they added to the new Birdsboro site were removed from the old Reading site. Reading site may need to eventually be rechecked to see what freqs are actually active there ( 461.25 / 464.275 / 500 mhz freqs on WPRJ813 / 454 mhz paging). And one should be on the lookout for a Birdsboro site to come online at some time.

Not directly related to MADRN... but

How would a radio react if it is a 403-470 split and gets told to move to the 500mhz channel? Would it tell the system it cant and then the system would reassign the TG to another frequency?

No idea. But, a legitimate radio on the system is unlikely to run into that issue -- i can't imagine them putting radios on the system that do not cover the range. I suppose there could be some, from other areas of the system where 500 mhz freqs aren't used. I'm sure somebody else can answer your question definitively.

Well that is my thought, the system covers so much area with a good handful of authorized resellers that unless your trying to get coverage with that as your primary site, the 500mhz range may not be considered, since 454 461 can be covered by either split.
On another note, it does appear that Site 41 is completely offline. The signal I saw on my SDR yesterday was a glitch. Aside from the expected sites 44, 61, 55 and 48 there is no other Con+ control channels that are broadcasting in area of Site 41.

Construction notification for Birdsboro -- might be online, if not it probably will be in the near future
